I base my practice on a few very simple principles : Practice gratitude, do great work, put your clients needs first, value the profession and ones self, be kind, honest and compassionate. I have practiced full time as a licensed massage therapist in the state of North Carolina for almost a decade. Devoting my life to this craft, helping people to live more balanced lives, with a focus on maintaining wellness. I am grateful to have a 10 year career focused in sports massage, deep tissue massage, injury treatment and pain managment, working with clients from all walks of life from the weekend warriors to the professional athlete. Additionally providing comfort and care to clients with chronic disease and disorders such as Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis, RA, CP, and others as part of their pain managment and long term care plans, in cooperation and under referral and recommendation from area healthcare providers. I am a graduate and diploma holder from Natural Touch School of Massage Therapy- Greensboro, 2005, where I was blessed to learn the art of massage from some of the best instructors and massage therapist in the country, in a comprehensive course of study, encompassing not only massage, but theory of wellness, and wholistic approach to practice. I am Licensed as a Massage and Bodywork Therapist in the State of NC, 05579, and also as a Certified Massage Therapist in the Commonwealth of Virgina, 0019012289 In addition to basic state licenses required to practice, I am also one of the areas few Nationally Certified Massage and Bodywork Therapist 435229-00, and am actively transitioning into Board Certification, a mastery level credential available only to therapist that meet elevated standards of education and professional competence.
