My name is Karen Sthamann and I was born and raised on the prairies of Saskatchewan. At an early age, I realized my strong desire to care for the sick and elderly. I became a Registered Nurse after high school and worked for 10 years. With the arrival of my children, they became my priority, so nursing was put on hold. When the chicks started leaving the nest, I returned to nursing again. But something was missing. My searching brought me to Reiki (or did Reiki find me?) and it has changed my life. I learned Reiki 1 and 2 from a wonderful woman, Tracy Reifferscheid, in 2012. In January 2014, I entered the ART/ Master Class with William Lee Rand in Maui, Hawaii. It was here that I was ignited with the new Reiki Holy Fire energy, which is the same energy that I use when I do sessions and classes. When I returned from Hawaii, I left nursing and now devoting my time to teaching and sessions. It was life changing for me, it can be for you as well!
