Hello everyone my name is Nick Thompson, thank you for finding me. I was drawn to bodywork over the course of many years developing a fascination for the human body. Hello everyone my name is Nick Thompson, thank you for finding me. I was drawn to bodywork over the course of many years developing a fascination for the human body. What they are capable of, how resilient they are, and how we animate this structure of muscle and bones to flow through life on our constant journey of seeking the things that give us meaning, purpose and joy. We move through this existence of ups and downs and how we cope is a direct correlation to the relationship we've developed with this temporary vessel. Over the course of growing older- working, raising families, and being whatever roles are required or called to us at the time, we consciously and unconsciously may store physical, emotional and mental trauma in our structure, tissues, organs and fascia. Bodywork is one of many ways to help heal ourselves, maintaining health and vitality as we strive to age gracefully. I was recently asked how I got into this and after stumbling through an answer had to go back later, piecing together how I ended up in Seattle doing bodywork.

I was born and raised and spent the first thirty years of my life in Minnesota. An upbringing of fishing, hunting, campfires, camping, baseball, biking and exploring. After high school I attended a trade school learning carpentry and cabinetmaking and ended up working for a really great company building and remodeling residential homes in southern Minnesota for twelve years. A shift started drawing me to learn about the human body and find a path where I could make a career in it. While visiting family here in the west I enrolled at a school in the Seattle area to learn reflexology and a few years later a school for massage therapy. The journey of moving and changing careers has been filled with great memories, not only being amidst the beauty of the Pacific Northwest but the excitement of new experiences and meeting amazing people along the way. I am forever grateful that I found bodywork, or that it found me. I love assisting people with stress or pain patterns in their bodies through different modalities, mainly using a combination of treatment massage, craniosacral therapy and reflexology to open channels and pathways, helping free stuck energetic patterns in the body to allow more space and ease. I am excited to be a lifetime student, learning as much as I can along the way to be of better service. Simply I want people that come to see me have a body with less pain and in a more relaxed state after a session so they can go back out in the world and do what they love as well.

REVIEWS for my Bodywork services

I had an amazing, ultra relaxing craniosacral session from Nick yesterday. I've also had other massage/bodywork experiences from Nick in the past--he is truly a phenomenal bodyworker. I'm also a massage therapist having had many massages from a wide variety of therapists. Nick remains among the absolute best--still in my top 10.

Nick is a skilled masseuse. Kind, communicative, professional. He focused on areas in need of that attention. I could tell even during that hour that my pains eased and tight muscles let go a little. Felt even better the day after. Definitely recommend. As a solo practitioner, his space is welcoming, spare, and clean. Personally, I liked not sharing the space with a lot of clientele and appreciated the quiet.

An amazing experience. He is a true healer alongside being a massage therapist and reflexologist. The craniosacral he offers has made a huge difference for me. I appreciated that he asked for consent to ensure that it was okay for certain aspects of the bodywork which is so important for individuals with trauma. It was a really positive experience and I would highly recommend him.
