BODYWORKS is a family owned and operated Massage Office that has been serving the community of Radford and The New River Valley since 1999. We are proud to pamper guests from out of town and those who live in Radford. BODYWORKS understands the mind-body-spirit connection, and have treated hundreds of loyal guests to a level of healing and relaxation that rebuilds the self that has been damaged by stress . Beth Powers Johnson opened BODYWORKS after embarking on her own amazing journey of transformation and healing. In 1998, Beth was overworked and overstressed; caught up in the fast paced world of Restaurant Management. Seeing the toll it took on her life, and the impact that overworking the body and spirit had on her physical health and interpersonal relationships, Beth decided to study Massage Therapy. She fell in love with Massage right away, noticing how much better she felt. She began to learn the concept of holistic healing and the power of relaxation. She decided to leave the stress behind, and live a life that encouraged others to treat their souls to peace and happiness. Beth completed a 610 hour Medical Massage Therapy program at the Virginia School of Massage in Blacksburg, Virginia. After much learning and personal growth, Beth opened BODYWORKS Massage Therapy. Beth is passionate about helping those with chronic pain and injuries. She believes in improving health and overall wellness through a healthy diet, exercise and massage and other relaxation therapies. She is an avid runner, having recently completed her first half marathon and her second full marathon.
