Robin is a massage therapist certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). She is also locally certified as a massage therapist by the Board of Chiropractic Examiners in Maryland. She graduated from Potomac Massage Training Institute where her emphasis of training included anatomy, physiology and pathology. Robin has a BA in Speech Communication from the University of Maryland.

Having worked as a Physical Therapist's aide and also as a Massage Therapist at National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH), she combines her Physical Therapy background with her massage training for a unique therapeutic combination. Her main focus is deep tissue and myofascial release. Robin has taken advanced classes in myofascial release and orthopedic massage.

Recently she completed Manual Trigger Point Therapy training at Myopain Seminars and is now a Certified Manual Trigger Point Trigger Point Therapist.  In 2008 she completed  a two year training program in Shiatsu at the Ohashi Institute in New York City. Both of these continuing studies enable her to look at the body in a whole new way. She now is beginning to have a better understanding of how the energy of the body has both physical and psychological manifestations. Robin also has been trained in Hot Stone, Sports, Pre-natal, and Thai Yoga massage. 

An avid athlete, Robin loves going to the gym to lift and is game for almost any form of exercise. She currently has been exploring the world of trail running and ultramarathons. She completed the Seneca Greenway Trail 50k and enjoys the MANY trails this area has to offer.
