Colleen Worth, Vibrational Sound and Energy Therapy Practitioner
As a certified practitioner of both the Alexander Method of Vibrational
Sound and Energy Therapy™ and the Alexander Method of Vibrational Sound and
Body Therapy™, I have found joy in helping others achieve a greater sense of
well-being and health. Through the use of tuning forks, both sounding in the
ears and in physical contact on the body, one’s chakras can be opened and
balanced, fostering better physical, emotional and spiritual states of being.
What is Vibrational Sound and Energy Therapy?
We are vibration, frequency and energy. Everything has a natural
rate at which it vibrates, an optimum range. That rate is called resonance.
When we are in resonance, we are in balance. Every part of us; our organs,
glands, bones, tissues - all have their own specific resonant frequency. These
frequencies together create a beautiful harmonic symphony, which
is our own personal vibratory rate. So just as in a symphony, if one of the
musicians is out of tune, the entire symphony is affected. By utilizing the
forks, we can tune the body, bringing it back into resonance. Just as a piano
can be tuned so can our bodies.
If not in tune, not functioning at our own natural personal
state of resonance, we are in a state of dissonance. When there is dissonance,
there is greater opportunity for stress and dis-ease. Sound healing with tuning
forks helps to locate the dissonance and bring the body back to its natural
harmonic resonance frequency.
