Katrina Orton is a licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Colorado.  She completed her Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine in December of 2003 and received her national certification in acupuncture (NCCAOM) in January of 2004.   She has kept all certifications current for nearly 16 years. She has been located with Full Body Wellness for the past 4 years, and was previously in the same location with NeoPneuma.   While completing her studies, Katrina studied several acupuncture modalities, traditional Chinese herbology, exam techniques, tui na (massage/stretching), and nutrition.  In her current practice, she specializes in acupuncture and includes tui na and cupping in her private sessions.  Katrina is a general practitioner and sees patients for a variety of conditions including but not limited to:  pain due to injury or chronic condition, muscle tension, headaches, TMJ, stoke recovery, digestive discomfort, seasonal allergies, and smoking cessation.  Besides offering private acupuncture sessions, Katrina has recently started hosting regular Community (group) Acupuncture as a way to reach more patients at affordable rates.
