I graduated from Bancroft School of Massage Therapy, located in Worcester, MA in 2008. 
I am proud to state that I excelled in both the academic and hands on course work.
 I am also a Usui Reiki Master dedicated to assisting others in their personal growth.

Before becoming a massage therapist, I worked in the "professional world" as a Professional Organizer for more than a decade. I spent my days working with doctors, lawyers, accountants, financial planners and real estate developers. It was during this time that I discovered my 'life's purpose' as a bodyworker. I became very interested in the various healing modalities and settled on massage therapy as a profession after several personal massage therapy sessions had a profound effect on my body, stress level and life during a particularly difficult time in my life (read: a horrible divorce). The talented therapist that worked on me changed my perception of what a massage session was.  It was not the 'fluff and buff' treatment that I was expecting but a deeply therapeutic session which relieved me of many of my psycho (stress)/somatic (body) symptoms.   That altered perception convinced me that I would be able to assist others through pain/health/lifestyle issues just as someone had helped me.

I am dedicated in my mission to assist people in finding holistic solutions to chronic pain, stress reduction and mind/body balance. I am continuing my education and my particular areas of interest are cranial sacral work cancer appropriate massage, Lomi Lomi Hawaiian Massage, Hot Stone Therapies, Prenatal Massage and chronic pain reduction using Myofascial Release techniques.  I have a particular interest in end of life issues and palliative care therapies.

I am a NCBTMB certified practitioner.
