From an early age I had an interest in caring for others and making them feel better. I am the oldest of 5 kids and my mother always had a stiff neck or a headache or sore hands from working hard. As we watched a movie in evenings I would massage her neck, shoulders and hands. In high school my friends would rush to get the seat in front of me so that I would massage their shoulders. One day my mother told me that I had a gift and I should massage people for a living. At the time I never heard of anyone making a living like that but I started doing some research. I was instantly intrigued and I found the best school in our area, Asten School of Natural Therapeutics in Richardson, Tx. I enrolled right after high school and I graduated with my massage license in December of 1997. Since then I have continued my education and obtained certifications in Hot Stone massage, reflexology, prenatal massage, myoflexion, myofascial release, aromatherapy, deep tissue manipulation, trigger point therapy, orthopedic massage, fibromyalgia technique, TMJ relief, carpal tunnel relief, tension headache relief and infant massage. I specialize in providing relief and improving muscle energy to specific areas such as sciatic pain, pain associated with TMJ, chronic neck and shoulder pain, "tech neck", between the shoulder blades, carpal tunnel, "tennis elbow", "runners knee", frozen shoulder, Si joint dysfunction and tension headaches. While these are modalities that I specialize in I am also skilled in providing a basic Swedish relaxation massage that enables you to completely relax from head to toe.
