Since receiving NY State Massage Licensure in 2009, Alice has practiced therapeutic massage & energywork professionally in spas, health clinics, and holistic studio settings. She has continued to study and practice approaches to health from ancient wisdom, including Chinese Acupressure, and Ayurvedic Cooking, Massage & Energy Medicine.

In 2013, Alice followed her soul’s calling to journey abroad, and experience the art of life & practice of healing in rural Scandinavia, Germany, and other parts of Northern Europe. More than 2 years later, including four and a half months travel in Northern India, she has returned to her home ground. She feels grateful and honored to be able to bring the learning of all these experiences into service for family, local community, and the greater world. In her day-to-day, Alice enjoys meditating, walking, singing, surfing life’s mysteries, Ragas / Ghazals & Sufi Qawwali, cooking, gardening, writing, photography & languages.

Also completed intensive certification course in Ayurvedic Abhyangam & Marma Massage at Ayuskama Ayurveda School in India, July 2015.

Pregnancy

Completed training workshop in Advanced Pregnancy Massage Techniques with Niara Healing Arts, in Binghamton, NY, 2011. Taught by a husband and wife team of massage therapists, this workshop clarified many of the myths about safe approaches to pregnancy massage, and introduced techniques that nurture and support a woman's body through the many aspects of transformation that it undergoes during and after pregnancy.
