"We don’t hate our own bodies, be we nourish and tenderly care for them." Paul of Tarsus, 62 AD

As my lifelong service in the U.S. Air Force drew to a close, I finally had the opportunity to pursue my dream job. In my early teens, my mother had often asked me to massage her aching feet after a long day standing. Ever since then, I have believed in the healing power of massage. It is technical, yet artistic. It utilizes wondrous techniques that work in harmony with the architecture of the human body. It soothes the soul. Massage is all that and more.
I believe the 700 hours of training I received at the Montgomery School of Bodywork & Massage has equipped me to help you reduce pain, stress, tension, anxiety, and depression, just to name a few.  Certified in Therapeutic, Orthopedic, Pregnancy, and Thai massage, I am confident that I can also help you recover from old injuries that still cause you residual pain, loss of function, and reduced range of motion.
Do you have chronic pain in the neck and shoulders? Massage can help!
Headaches at the base of your skull or behind your eyes? One of my scalp massages can definitely help!
Even if you just want to feel less fatigued and recover some of your vigor, massage can help.
So, Yes! At this point in my life, my dream job is the privilege of serving and caring for the people in my community by helping them feel better in mind and body, which helps them be better for themselves, their families, at work and at play.
Massage therapy -- it increases our usefulness -- it is exactly what you and I have been looking for.
Perhaps Charles Dickens said it best,
“No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another.”

REVIEWS for my Bodywork services

Very knowledgeable and professional. Checked multiple times to make sure I was comfortable with pressure levels. Let me know when he was transitioning to a different technique and what I could expect. This is my second time with Shawn and plan to continue using him in the future.

Shawn was able to stop the pain by using massage pressure, positioning, and breathing techniques for me to fully relax and it released. I’m grateful for the release of pain I thought was chronic.

He always listens to my area of concern but what's even better is he does his skill with enjoyment. You can tell he understands the assignment! I am so appreciative of his work and the entire experience.

Been seeing Shawn for over 3 1/2 years. He's kept me out of pain after years of enduring shoulder pain. He's been a God send. And he actually cares. He knows my needs and always does everything to meet and exceed those needs.

Shawn takes time to determine what the most important need is for each visit, and then works on that need. He does not ignore all of the needs represented as you arrive, but makes sure he doesn't miss any area of concern you may have.

Shawn was amazing! He was very thorough and really helped my frozen shoulder and the tension in my neck due to my occupation. I left feeling like a wet noodle. He's definitely in the right profession!
