BS Physical Education K-12 Central Connecticut State University Licensed Massage Therapist - Oregon School of Massage Swedish, Thai, Shiatsu, Sport, & Reflexology My intention: Connecting body, mind, and spirit for a wholistic experience to relaxation and healing. A body that relaxes well, can exercise intensely resulting in increased energy and a sense of well being. Working synergistically with coaches/therapists to get the best results for each client. The body is an amazing connected web of muscles, bone, organs and vessels. We are connected head to toe. A foot injury can translate to a hip dysfunction, then travel to the back and up to the head. Therefore, a foot injury can lead to headaches. Our emotions and spiritual well being are equally affected by the messages we hear and how we respond to stress. How do you feel physically, emotionally, and spiritually? How can I help you feel better? A "jock" at heart. I'll try most activities at least once. I like to swim, bike, play volleyball, hike, water/snow ski, salsa dance, decorate, build and organize. I am willing to learn, even if it difficult. One of my goals is to be able to participate in activities with my adult children. This means managing my health with good nutrition, exercise, and rest. I enjoy camping in the great northwest and traveling to other countries. Life is meant to be lived. Don't survive, thrive.

Independent Business Owner

I started out of Massage School working at a private Fitness Studio in Beaverton. A friend and financial advisor knew of a business owner opening up his studio and a room was available for massage. As lifelong fitness is important to me, working with coaches seemed like a great fit. Kneaded Balance, LLC was born. My education background helps me to clarify my work with clients that are injured or need tissue work. I enjoy the Eastern modalities (Shiatsu, Thai, & Reflexology) blended with Western modalities (Swedish, Sport, MFR, and NMT) to balance the mind, body, spirit of each person. I have added cupping & gua sha, and heat packs for increased blood flow. I continue to learn in Continuing Education classes. I believe our bodies are sacred and therefore to be honored. I encourage each individual to take responsibility for their health in the most natural way. We are unique in how we receive massage, so each session is tailored. I accept MVA clients as well as many who have massage as an insurance health benefit. I work with local Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, Fitness/Yoga coaches, Naturopaths and Acupuncturist to fine tune the healthiest choices. Let’s live well together!
