Lezlie Amara Piper is informed equally by Earth and Spirit.
Long before attending massage, nutrition, or herbal school, there were folk healers and excellent hands-on practitioners influencing her life. She was introduced to massage at the hands of her mother and her Norwegian, massage and physical therapist, grandmother and she began studying with her first herbal mentor at age 15 in South Eastern Idaho. She has attended Lewis and Clark College, Pacific Northwest College of Art, and Oregon School of Massage, The School of Western Herbalism, and with gratitude, includes among her mentors: Jim Berns, Cascade Geller, Paul Pitchford, Matthew Wood, Margie Flint, Jim MacDonald, Scott Kloos, Rosemary Gladstar, Professor Hui-Xian Chen, Liu He, Kamala Quali, Lydia Bartlow, and Tami Kent.
Her focus is on listening to the body (and the spirit )and letting it guide her work. Her sessions allow for the unity of varying levels of mind, body and spirit with intention to meet each client exactly where they are and the unfolding happens from there. She has been offering sensitive bodywork for close to 29 years. She has given more than 15,000 massages and continues to thrive in the practice.
