"Healing may not be so much about getting better, as about letting go of everything that isn't you -- all of the expectations, all of the beliefs -- and becoming who you are." ~Rachel Naomi Remen

"Healing may not be so much about getting better, as about letting go of everything that isn't you -- all of the expectations, all of the beliefs -- and becoming who you are." ~Rachel Naomi Remen
For me, massage is about presence, about connection with self and others, and about healing through touch. I strive to help you connect with your body, listen to your inner wisdom, and find healing and wellness from within. I respect each person who chooses to receive bodywork from me and consider it a gift to be a part of your personal care, growth, and healing.
I've been providing compassionate bodywork since 2007. I offer Swedish/Relaxation, Trigger Point Therapy, Acupressure, Sports Massage, Reflexology, Ashiatsu DeepFeet Bar Therapy, and massage for people living with cancer (oncology massage). I've had the honor of providing therapeutic bodywork for Olympic-bound athletes at the Olympic Track and Field Trials, people in hospice care, people undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, and transfusions at OHSU, and people in need of a safe, compassionate space for healing from chronic stress, pain, trauma, and PTSD. I am trained in Trauma Informed Bodywork.
I continue to learn and be in awe of the mind-body-emotion-spirit connection!
With great kindness,
Kathy
