I studied massage at the The University of Western States in Portland, OR. There I focused on both the science as well as the art of Therapeutic Massage. I have worked side by side with other like-minded medical professionals, and believes whole-heartedly in the many benefits of massage and well-intended touch.

Originally from the Midwest, I come from a large family, many of whom are in the medical field. Amid my upbringing and training I understand the importance of personal connection and how it relates to individual health. I specifically enjoy relating to clients on a personal level and providing appropriate therapeutic care. Drawn to bringing wellness and comfort to people’s lives, I am on a life long journey of learning and advancement within the alternative healing field.

I spent a significant amount of time abroad learning the art of Thai Massage and the theory behind the ancient practices throughout Thailand. Besides offering Thai Massage I am proficient in Relaxation, Therapeutic, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Structural, and Sports massage. I offer each modality individually and incorporates pieces of each into his practice creating a unique style and experience.

Personally, I have many hobbies but mainly enjoy practicing yoga, spending time outdoors, and taking advantage of the numerous activities that Portland and the Great Northwest has to offer.

Absolutely worth it! My wife has been going for massages for years, and I'd been meaning to go and finally made an appointment. After a discussion about what I was there for and what I hoped to achieve from the session, I could tell that Jared is knowledgeable and experienced. I noticed particular care around areas that needed work that I didn't even notice needed them until he started working on them!

Jared's office is easy to get to, by bike or car. He asks and listens, adjusts his technique, and provides excellent support for maintaining body strength and flexibility.
