Jacob's philosophy is patience and specificity. He enjoys the detective work in pain relief, finding the small knots that lead to bigger knots and the eventual unraveling of muscle tension.

As a Portland native, he graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts where he maintained a 4.0, and gained a keen interest in Myofascial bodywork, Deep Tissue, stretching, Structural Integration, Trigger Point Therapy, and Swedish massage.

His primary mode of pain relief is using a combination of gua-sha, cupping, trigger point, myofascial (structural) work, with a little bit of Swedish circulatory massage to move things through. He is specially trained in neck and shoulder pain.
