At 19 I first got interested in the healing arts. A few times a weeks I would make a trip to the library to get books on Alternative Therapies. A year of this, and I figured it was time for "real schooling." I moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, and graduated from massage school in spring of 2009. After which I moved to Fairfield, Iowa. Where I got a degree in Physiology and Anatomy, with a concentration in Ayurveda, and Vedic Science. At same time I did distance learning out of New York City, and obtained a certification as a Health Coach. A few years in a field of Ayurvedic herbs sales I was ready to get back into body work. I then worked a year at The Raj, an Ayurvedic health spa, as an Ayurvedic therapist. I am currently at Altierus Career College in order to be licensed as a massage therapist in Oregon.
