Throughout my life I've been told both that I have strong hands and a calming presence. In 2010 I finally put the two together by attending the Ashland Institute of Massage in Ashland, Oregon where I graduated with a 4.0 from their 650-hour program. I'd spent my prior adult life trying on several hats, but this clearly turned out to be the best professional choice I have made. I am daily filled with gratitude to be doing what I love.

My specialties are treating whiplash injuries and carpal tunnel/thoracic outlet syndrome, working with those who have autoimmune conditions, and addressing chronic pain. My passion lies in treating symptoms of autoimmune diseases such as Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis, and Myofascial Pain Syndrome. Thriving with MS myself, I am especially sensitive to the individual ways in which these conditions manifest, and enjoy helping to empower my clients achieve maximum quality of life. I utilize Myofascial Release, a key method in treating many conditions ranging from Fibromyalgia to whiplash, as well as relaxing Swedish Massage, and targeted Neuromuscular Therapy techniques.

In addition to massage, I have been practicing Reiki since 2005. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Social Relations as well as a certificate in Nutritional Therapy that combine with massage therapy to give me a holistic perspective on my clients as individuals.

I am a preferred provider for nearly all major health insurance carriers, provided you have a massage benefit, and accept Motor Vehicle Accident claims.
