Laura has worked her way through a number of different careers: photographer, Internet web designer, custom cabinet maker.  She graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in 2012 and has been practicing massage ever since.  Her interest in massage lies in relieving trauma that has remained in her clients' bodies.  Getting rid of long-term issues frees the body, mind and soul to move forward into a healthier future.

Laura’s work combines aspects of deep tissue, relaxation, and trigger point modalities, depending on what your needs are that day.  Laura uses hot stones and fire cupping at times to help relax tissue and extend the effects of her massage.  

If you are looking for a lighter touch, or have chronic issues that haven’t been alleviated through other therapies, Laura also provides Craniosacral treatments.  Craniosacral works with the bones of the skull and the sacrum, which then have an effect on the nervous system, telling the body to release tension and relax.  Some common issues that Craniosacral can help with are: headaches, TMJ syndrome, whiplash, sinusitis, and dizziness.
