Bio: Jon graduated with honors and attendance excellence in June 2008 from Ashmead School of Massage (now Everest) in Vancouver, WA. In addition to completing the massage therapy program, Jon also specialized in Sports and Clinical Massage as well as Spa Therapies passing the Aromatherapy Foundation exam.

In early 2008, Jon was also accepted as an intern with the Portland Timber soccer team as part of his clinic assignment. He continued working with the Portland Timbers on a volunteer basis during the 2009 and 2010 seasons. As of March 2011, he became one of the official massage therapists for the Portland Timbers.

In July 2008, he began his second program in Sports & Clinical massage. Upon completing his second program in September 2008, he was hired on at Everest College as a Teaching Assistant and Resource Center Facilitator. Jon also completed training with The American Red Cross as a certified First Aid/CPR instructor. He is also currently an on-call instructor at Everest College, teaching Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage, Kinesiology, and Spa Therapies.

Jon, coming from a culinary, computer science and financial background, has a variety of talents, which he will put to use as a massage practitioner. Jon formed what he is deeming a massage co-operative. The purpose of this co-op is to offer a variety of services to their clients at a much lower rate. By doing this, the client can benefit from massage as part of their routine for healthy living.

In addition, Jon is also certified in Reiki and completed his training to become a Reiki Master. Jon is available for Onsite services in Vancouver and both In-office or Onsite services in Portland by advanced appointment only.

Attended a 260-hour sports program in 2008. We learned a variety of techniques in CSM (Clinical Sports Massage), MFR, and full body integration and application for post-trauma rehabilitation through massage therapy.

Jon is a lovely person, providing a comfortable atmosphere and welcoming environment. He is a good listener and is very skilled in massage. He is intuitive, responsive and friendly. The massage was relaxing and productive and whereas I had back pain going in to the massage, I have not had it since.
