Brenda completed her 600-hour training in Whole Health Shiatsu at the Massage Arts Center of Philadelphia, under the instruction of Deborah Overholt in 2008. While attending MACP, she founded The Shiatsu Co-Op, a community-based studio of 5 practitioners, offering shiatsu treatments at low-cost to the public. She continued her studies in advanced shiatsu techniques under the mentorship of Leo McElroy. In 2010, Brenda moved to Portland, Oregon in order to expand her forever developing love and pursuit of knowledge of these healing arts by attending the National College of Natural Medicine masters program in Classical Chinese Medicine. Brenda has also trained in Thai Massage, Reiki, Cranio-Sacral, Jin Shin Do and Somatic ReEducation.
