Thai Massage

Thai massage is more energizing and rigorous than more classic forms of massage. The therapist uses their hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like stretches. Many people say Thai massage is like doing yoga without any work. Muscle compression, joint mobilization, and acupressure are also used during treatment. People describe Thai massage as both relaxing and energizing. Thai massage is done on a padded mat on the floor, and also can be done on a massage table. No oil is applied, so you are fully dressed. You are asked to bring or wear comfortable clothing to the massage.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy is an ancient and effective modality widely used in traditional Chinese medicine over thousands of years in China. The Cup is usually made from glass or plastic. Suction is created on the skin and the cup will adhere to the skin for up to 20 minutes. With the suction, the negative pressure in the cup stimulates the local acupuncture point; to increase blood flow, to loosen up local tight muscles, to relieve pain, to detoxify, and to re-balance the relative organ function. Generally there are no side effects. Most commonly, it may leave temporary cup marks on the skin, which usually happens in the first one or two treatment sessions. The marks will gradually subside and disappear within one to two weeks. Some of the many ailments that cupping can help are: sports injuries, neuromuscular conditions, sinus pressure, TMJD, scars and stretch marks, orthopedic conditions, cellulite reduction, myofascial release, migraines, constipation, fibromyalgia, skin rejuvenation, etc.

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage shares many of the goals of regular massage – to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. But it's also tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies, and the therapist will adjust their techniques accordingly.
