Over the years I have specialized in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Prenatal, Organic Spa Reflexology & Chair Massage.  During this time I have also developed an affinity for energy work and our own body's ability to facilitate healing on multiple levels.  In the recent past I have become Reiki Certified (Level III) and completed specialized training in Oncology Massage from nationally recognized leader Tracy Walton & Associates. My oncology training led me to finding Lymphatic Drainage Massage to safely help clients suffering with lymphedema or at risk.

I have deep beliefs in the mind/body connection and apply what I've learned in all of my sessions modifying each for your individual needs.

Lymphatic drainage massage (MLD) is a gentle technique that helps reduce swelling, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural detoxification process. It’s especially beneficial for people with lymphedema, chronic inflammation, autoimmune conditions or post-surgical recovery. Helping to support a healthy immune system.

Complete Decongestive Therapy

Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) is the standard of care for the treatment of primary and secondary lymphedema. CDT is also extremely beneficial for managing post-traumatic and post-surgical edema, chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) and patients with wounds.

I had a wonderful experience with Allison this week. As a breast cancer survivor, lymphatic drainage is extremely important to my healing. But I don't think I truly understood the impact that such a massage could have. Allison worked on several areas that were blocked, and her special technique allowed these areas to clear. I am still feeling the wonderful effects several days later. I am so grateful to have access to such a talented practitioner.

In the past, I have felt pain when getting a massage, but Allison managed to address my problem areas from a relaxing but effective standpoint, rather than causing additional pain. She was gentle but intentional with every movement.
