Sometimes it can take a variety of different modalities to correct a pain issue or muscle imbalance. Those can include Massage Therapy, energy work, sports medicine, chiropractic, acupuncture, etc. For me, I felt that corrective exercise was the missing link to many of the muscle imbalances I was encountering through my clients. That led me to become certified as a Personal Trainer in 2012 through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. This built upon my already existing experience of 11 years in the women’s fitness field. Often times, the two modalities, massage and fitness, are meshed together in one session depending on your needs.
