Hot Stone

While working at a local spa for over two years, I had the opportunity of using hot stones in my sessions. I also did salt scrubs, body glows, and all over mud masks. If the word rejuvenate sounds good to you, then you need one of these. Fun Fact: Hot stone massage is a great way to loosen the body for some long lasting fascial stretching.

Bodywork

Sports Massage/ Fascial Stretching

I worked with a chiropractors office in Gilbert for over five years. This is where I thrived in sports therapy with deep tissue and stretching techniques as my foundation. I worked on several retired and current athletes, from the ages of 6 and up. Due to the owners heart to give back to the city, I had the wonderful pleasure of helping keep our Mesa Firemen in the best of shape. Sports therapy goes above and beyond what we see on tv, it's the young yogi, the five year old ballet dancer, the high school quarterback, the retired baseball player, and yes even our local firemen. Fun Fact: I worked the NFL Superbowl Committee Party when the Superbowl was here in Phx, as a Massage Therapist.

Prenatal / Women's Health

I thought I knew what massage meant to a pregnant woman, until I became one. The ups and downs, the aches and pains, the roller coaster your body endures, it is one incredible vessel and it deserves to be not just rewarded but supported. Pregnant, or not, my ability to support women in their health journey is something I value with honor. Fun Fact: Since becoming pregnant, I am tinkering with the idea of getting my DOULA Certification.

Medical Massage

Do you struggle with anxiety? Insomnia? Migraines? Firbromyalgia? Massage goes beyond luxury for so many reasons, but to someone suffering a medical condition, it can mean a whole new perspective on life. Massage can even benefit someone recovering from surgery, getting stem cells, or having radiation treatments. Fun Fact: I spoke at Barrow's Brain and Spine Center on how massage can help with Chiari Malformation. (a condition in which brain tissue extends into your spinal canal)

Charity gave sound advice on all things pre and postpartum. She was very knowledgeable and educational as well as worked within my limits of pressure throughout the massage. She has a client first mentality that you would like to see from all therapists. I’m so glad I was able to work with her for my induction massage!
