I received a Bachelors degree in Psychology and worked in the field with patients with different mental disorders for 3 years. Over time, I had a desire to work with people and their physical problems. I took a position in the Physical Therapy Department at a local hospital for 2 years and moved to New York and took a position in a Sports Medicine facility working along side Physical Therapists hoping to enter PT school. After a personal injury and having my first massage, I was astonished how much better I felt and how much quicker my recovery was. I knew I wanted to become a Massage Therapist. I graduated from The Pennsylvania School of Massage Therapy in 1995. My continuing education has been diverse but mostly geared towards corrective therapies to help those with dysfunction and pain. I also enjoy doing Swedish Massage for those who want to relax in a stress free environment or those on a regular body maintenance schedule. During our session, I'm hoping clients get a better understanding of their bodies, to be mindful of their bodies signals and be active in the process to keep it in balance.
