New Leaf is exactly that for Owner and Lead Therapist Beth Mingledorff. Turning her back on a lucrative 20+ year career in the entertainment industry, Beth attended The Soma Institute - The National School of Clinical Massage Therapy, where she graduated top of her class, and followed up by completing Soma's Master of Clinical Massage Therapy Program. She now devotes her considerable skill to helping others take control of their health and wellness through compassionate and therapeutic massage. Beth has worked with athletes, chiropractic patients and spa clients and brings a unique perspective to each client’s treatment. Beth is nationally certified by the NCBTMB and a Certified Member of ABMP.

"As Massage Therapists, we are required to complete 24 hours of continuing education every 2 years in order to maintain our licensure. The majority of therapists do just this. In the 3 years since obtaining my license, I have accumulated 364 hours of additional study in a wide variety of modalities and techniques, the equivalent of a therapist who has fulfilled the licensing requirement for 30 years. As such, I bring a vast array of perspectives to the table in order to deliver an individually appropriate treatment for each and every client. I believe that regular bodywork should not be considered a luxury, but part of a regular health care routine. To that end, New Leaf employs a no tipping policy. Rather than create a dynamic of expectation of “something extra” between practitioner and client, I believe that health care should be both affordable and carry no cost beyond my published rates. You don’t tip your doctor, but you do recommend him or her to others when you feel their level of care is exceptional. Referring others to me is the greatest “tip” I can receive."
