Abigail’s career change brought her to the Bay Area in 2007. She is completed her Massage Certification while completing her pre-requisites for completing a PhD in Integrative Medicine, specializing in connective tissue. She graduated with a degree in cognitive science at Wellesley College; she has studied sports massage in Colorado; traditional native medicine in South and Central America; and has completed internships and workshops with leading health care professionals for pregnancy massage, advanced deep tissue and active stretching. She has over 1450 hours of massage training in Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, anatomy, Somatics. She is certified in Stretching, Pain Management and has mastered the ability to quickly intuit where her clients are experiencing pain and relieving discomfort. She is a master at helping people with very specific muscular pains and discomforts, and she wanted to bring this to clinical and orthopedic focus more cost effectively. She offers insurance billing to help reduce client costs for advanced techniques - and aids therapists in building out their client volume through insurance billing
