I'm not always doing massage therapy but when I am it's Myofascial Release Therapy

I have always been fascinated with the link between our human experiences and the manifestation of dis-orders or dis-eases within our bodies. I love that massage therapy in all forms is like a conduit for messages from our bodies to our souls and back again.
I attended The Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca NY and graduated in 2005. After months of studying and then sitting for my board exam I truly felt a little lost as to what to do with my new license.

After 10 years of Continuing Education Classes, and still never really finding what I was looking for,  I came upon The Taylor Technique for Myofascial Release and finally discovered what I had been waiting for.
My practice is now based solely on Myofascial Release, a very direct pressure, sustained stretching technique developed by Carrie Taylor, RMT, LMT, CPT, BSc, MS.  The Taylor Technique is a unique treatment approach developed by Carrie in 1998, utilizing the Fascial trains to observe where in the body there are dysfunctional tissue states, and to then correct those troubled areas. It is an especially useful technique in treating chronic pain, muscular and joint injuries, postural imbalances, general tension, and many other disorders.
I share space and practice with Dr. Tina Nagle, DC, in the Beautiful Painted Post Area. Stay tuned for updates on our practice relocation in 2018!
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and our family, feeding and watching the birds in my back yard, meditating, and...my second passion, writing.

Please see comments in previous review. I was very comfortable and at ease and open to treatment. I appreciated being educated about the body and how much everything is interconnected. Again, I suggest having a rating between "good" and "amazing". My experience was "very good".
