Lauren DuBois, HHP, CYT, LMT # 8611 Lauren DuBois is a holistic Health Practitioner, Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Yoga Teacher, and movement instructor. Lauren's love of the body has inspired her to study, teach and practice all the ways we can live a healthy, happy and harmonious life. Her certifications include Ashiatsu “Barefoot” Massage, Acupressure, ART (Active Release Therapy), Breema, Craniosacral, CTM (Connective Tissue), Cupping, Deep Tissue, Fusion Hot Stone, Lomi Lomi, Myofascial Release, NKT (Neurokinetic Therapy), Polarity, Pre/Post Natal, Shiatsu, Sports, Structural Integration, Swedish, Thai and Trigger Point. She also incorporates breath work, guided meditation, Reiki, energy work, aromatherapy, and nutrition support. She first began to study holistic health in 2000 at Heartwood Institute in California, and since then she has received over 4,000 hours of training and 20 years of professional experience. Lauren is licensed in Hawaii, Oregon, California and is Nationally Board Certified. Lauren specializes in alignment and movement based bodywork, helping people to relieve chronic pain, alleviate stressful patterns and bring people into balance and harmony. Lauren integrates a full spectrum of different healing modalities to best fit the clients healing needs. As a child Lauren was really into gymnastics and the parallel and uneven bars, so when she discovered Ashiatsu “Barefoot” Massage, she fell in love with already having the upper body awareness and a keen sense of intuitive touch in her feet. She felt at home with Ashiatsu using the bars on the ceiling for support and her feet to massage people. People always used to ask her to walk on their backs, and now she does professionally. Lauren is also a Certified Acroyoga teacher and Yoga Therapist. She loves to integrate yoga/movement practices to help her clients heal and learn new healthy movement patterns/habits to assist in the healing process, as well as to encourage a healthy happy and stress free life.
