After graduation Melanie attended South Central Technical college receiving a certification in Business Microcomputers. In 2006 Melanie returned to school to pursue a massage therapy degree. She graduated from Minnesota School of Business's Massage Therapy program.  Melanie is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.

Throughout her massage career, Melanie has learned that no two sessions are alike. Everyone has their own set of life experiences and a unique relationship to their body, which deeply affects their personal massage style preferences and needs. This understanding has enabled Melanie to utilize her training and extensive life experiences to tailor each massage session to the needs of her clients.  In 2017 Mindy became a Wellness Advocate for dōTERRA.
