I have been a massage therapist since 2003. My initial training was with Sister Rosalind's School of Professional Massage, Mankato, Minnesota. Because I was working full time while attending classes, this 650 hour program took several years to complete. Taking longer to complete the course work was advantageous because it gave me ample opportunity to integrate and assimilate what was being taught.

Massage school was just the beginning. Numerous classes, courses, and workshops followed. After retiring from a full-time corporate position in 2008, I practiced at several locations in Owatonna, Minnesota: Dow Chiropractic, DeCapo Salon, and Repose on Broadway. I also continued to see clients at my house.

Shoulder surgery in January of 2014 side-lined me for over a year. When it was time to return to the massage table, I kept my practice "home-based." In 2018 I re-opened in Owatonna, to serve a wider clientele.

I enjoy massage therapy because it is people-centric. I feel it truly "does no harm" and very often is of great benefit for body, mind and spirit.

Massage therapy keeps me physically active. In addition to massage, I enjoy kayaking, SUP, photography, "camper"-ing, and walking my dogs.
