19 years ago I was planning to return to college to pursue my Masters in Physical Therapy and kept meeting massage therapist along the way. One day I was offered a free massage by a friend who was attending massage school and need to practice and after that I was hooked. One day I was offered a free massage by a friend who was attending massage school and need to practice and after that I was hooked. She fixed the pain I was having in my back as a result of a roller blading accident. I had no idea massage could "fix" my pain.
My prior medical training as a Medical Laboratory Technician came in handy when it came to encountering my clients medical conditions but it was ultimately my education in Oriental Medicine, Energy work and Structural Alignment which has balanced my bodywork.
Everyday I go to my office to help my clients with their aches and pains and everyday I am rewarded by them and their knowledge and internal wisdom. Everyday is a blessing. I learn new forms of bodywork as often as possible. I am always excited to see what the day brings.
