Sandra is a name that means defender or helper of mankind.  People with this name have a deep inner desire for love and companionship, and want to work with others to achieve peace and harmony.  Even as a child, I took it to heart, and I've always tried to help when I can.  Along my journey, my desire to do good and make a positive impact on the world has grown.  Massage Therapy has led me down path after path of healing and discovery for both myself and my clients.

With more than 17 years of massage experience, I've been blessed to lay my hands on more than 50,000 people over the years.   My career in massage therapy has taken me to premier vacation destinations at luxurious spas in San Diego, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.  I have had private practices in my Michigan home town and locally in Siesta Key, Sarasota, and Nokomis areas since 2011.  I love helping people feel better and live more consciously.  

Every massage I give is catered to the individual needs of my client on that given day.  A blend of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, and Reiki gently persuades your muscles to release holding patterns.  Allowing a space for silence, along with focused intentional breath, enables you to tap into yourself, where healing occurs.  I've found over the years that unexpressed emotions are often stored in the muscles and connective tissue of our bodies.  I work very Intuitively with my clients, paying attention to how the body is responding instead of just bull-dozing through the body faster than it's ready to release.
 

Since relocating to Sarasota in 2011,I have been serving the Siesta Key, Sarasota, and Nokomis communities.  My relaxing massage room, located inside SouthBay Hair Studio + Spa, is just a short drive from Sarasota or Nokomis, in Osprey, FL. I am available by appointment Tuesday- Friday, and occasional Saturdays.

I spend much of my time away from massage at the local drum circle gatherings. I've never had so much fun before, and I bring the same intention with me to drum circles, as I do to my massage and Reiki sessions.  I believe that through dancing and drumming in alignment with a higher purpose, I am helping to positively shift the vibration of the world around me.

More use of essential oils....could you try a new face holder that was softer? It is too firm for me. But as always a great message that leaves me feeling wonderful....you take great care to inform me of changes in my muscles and your observations are very helpful. I welcome your calm energy.
