What attracted you to a career in massage?
I grew up with my grandparents doing trigger point, acupressure and other holistic treatments on me. I was good with science and the body always fascinated me. It just kinda worked out.

Which school did you attend and which certifications do you hold?
I attended UCMT in Lindon for the basic massage course where I was trained in roughly 30 different modalities. And then I moved on to the SLC, UT campus where I learned specialized modalities geared towards the spa industry, i.e. Hot Stone Massage, Body Wraps/Scrubs, Advanced Shiatsu/Cranial/Reflexology. I know a lot of things!!

What techniques do you specialize in?
I use Swedish massage combined with Injury and Sports Massage as my basic. It's great for breaking up the knots and tension and also helps the body heal.  Then I also do Hot Stone massage, Reflexology, Cranial, Shiatsu.

Where are you available to provide massage?
I have two locations I am doing massage. One in Orderville UT located at 10 W Center 100 S and the second one is 256 W 300 N #1 in Kanab UT. You can find me on Google but their directions may be off a street. Just look for Emalene LMT on the map.

What hobbies and other interests do you have?
I am a mom to two fast and ferocious boys. We like to go rock hounding, 4-wheeling, fire wood cutting, hiking, or have Nerf gun wars outside.
