Let's slow down together.

It has taken 8 years for me to find my niche in the massage industry as there is a broad spectrum from which we as massage therapists learn and grow from.  I continue to learn, experience and add to my massage routine a combination that focuses on relaxation.  When the world is moving so fast and wanting us to do more, learn more, work harder, work smarter, be the best in our jobs….. it is in these moments where I look at the skill all massage therapists are taught….. surrender to the silence...

It has taken 8 years for me to find my niche in the massage industry as there is a broad spectrum from which we as massage therapists learn and grow from.  I continue to learn, experience and add to my massage routine a combination that focuses on relaxation.  When the world is moving so fast and wanting us to do more, learn more, work harder, work smarter, be the best in our jobs….. it is in these moments where I look at the skill all massage therapists are taught….. surrender to the silence and fluidity of a slow massage while you unwind from the day, allowing your breath to sink back into your body.

You will discover with my massages, I like to listen to music that is a bit lower in sound to draw the mind to focus on hearing the music while you are focusing on your breath as we begin creating sacred space for your massage.  During your journey, I will be combining energy work and reiki.

I became a reiki master in 2000 while living in Dayton, Ohio, attending the Ohio Academy of Holistic Health.  After a few years living back in Nebraska, I volunteered reiki at Walker Foot Bath, which then lead me to studying Hawaiian Shamanism with Larry Kesler. I finally pursed my passion of becoming a massage therapist in 2010 at Universal College of Healing Arts.

Although I am very passionate with learning the gift of massage, my current passion is Qigong.  While being introduced to Qigong while living in Ohio, it was Sarah Brandt’s teaching of qigong that I have committed to and have been studying for almost 10 years.  I find practicing qigong movement as a form of moving meditation before massage has greatly improved my quality of massage.

Thank you for reading.  I look forward to meeting you soon!
