"The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." -Lao Tzu

My name is Kirsten Malotky. I have been studying body work and massage for seven years and I have no plan to stop studying any time soon. I am endlessly fascinated by the undeniable connection between the mind, the body, and the spirit. It has ultimately lead to my study of not only massage, but yoga as well.

My name is Kirsten Malotky. I have been studying body work and massage for seven years and I have no plan to stop studying any time soon. I am endlessly fascinated by the undeniable connection between the mind, the body, and the spirit. It has ultimately lead to my study of not only massage, but yoga as well.

My journey started at Omaha School of Massage and Healthcare in April of 2010. I graduated as a Massage Therapist in September of 2011 and began my professional career as a Licensed Massage Therapist in Nebraska early of 2012. I began as an independent contractor in a chiropractor's office in Lincoln, NE before helping start a business in Lincoln named Empowered Healing. I spent three years there, growing the business, and lots of growing within myself, before I made a move to Omaha and began another independent business located in Pranam Yoga Shala.
During those years, I continued studying body work with frequent trips to Chicago where I have been studying the art of Thai Massage with Chuck Duff. Adding Thai massage to my repertoire, along with my study of yoga, has enhanced and expanded my view of the body and deepened my appreciation for kinesiology. I am currently working towards the completion of Coaching the Body certification, which is a combination of trigger point therapy and Thai body work techniques.
I believe in the innate ability of the body to heal itself when given proper care. I look forward to assisting you on your path back to wellness.

I love that way she would explain what massage techniques? she was doing and asked me how I was doing throughout the session.
