It seemed almost intuitive for me to help someone with an illness, be at someone's bedside to be that positive support or work on someone who had a sore muscle. I had chosen to be a massage therapist because it is the only practice that I found that the practitioner actually has dedicated time to be with the client. I did consider being a doctor. That would have been fun but have you ever waited in a doctor's office for 2 hours just to see the doctor for 5 minutes. You have? Me too! But that isn't my style.
