Part therapist/Part Athlete

At the age of 24, a lifetime of therapeutic and athletic practice continues to roll out. Seriously, I have been giving massages and playing sports ever since I can remember. I continue to have a growing understanding and passion for both of these spectrums.

Shoulder rubs at the baseball game in exchange for ice-cream at the concession stand, yes that was 7 year old me. Into middle and high school I massaged my peers quite frequently at school and social functions for no other reason but that ...

Into middle and high school I massaged my peers quite frequently at school and social functions for no other reason but that I enjoyed it. I have always been inclined to be hands on. Nothing feels better than helping others feel better with my hands and knowledge. I look forward to my days working as a therapist and the challenges that come along with it. I recognize that this is a complex task needing poise and focus. Sedation and release is a gift I recognized young and love to utilize everyday..

I also have athletic inclinations and practiced many sports. I played baseball and Tae Kwon Do at a young age and began Wrestling, Judo, Brazilian Jiu jitsu (grappling is my ultimate sporting passion) at the age of 14 and continue my training to this day. Into my 20's now, I have recently added sporting hobbies related to stability and endurance with slack-lining and cross country cycling. I am a coach as well for the varsity wrestling team at Berkeley Preparatory School.

At the age of 20 the decision was made to make a career of bodywork. I am thankful every day for the abilities I have and the opportunities to help the clients I work with.  My Goal is to enhance your day to day life with a healthier and more properly toned muscular system through my unique-to-you hands on treatments.

3 years

During three years of professional massage therapy I have given well over 3,240 hours of hands on soft tissue treatments. A large fraction of these treatments have been through the massage envy corporation where I've maintained an average 75 percent request and 45 percent pre-book. I have worked with body types from all different walks of life. Athletes, doctors, therapists, cancer patients, elderly, youth and in-between. Each day I become more confident in my practice because each day I am learning new things.

Noting like it, they are very informative and really care about their customers. I had an excruciating pain in my neck that would not go away I have tried everything under the sun nothing would work. My daughter recommended me going to see Joshua. I I was very hesitant at first, after talking to Joshua I became very relaxed and willing to give it a try. I can tell you I walked out of there virtually pain-free. I highly recommend them.

Thanks to Josh I have more knowledge of what my body is currently doing, and what I need to do to get it to where it needs to be. I have been to many LMT's over the past year, but Josh blew them out of the water.

Josh knew more about the pain I was experiencing than I did and he described what he was going to do and how it would help my body in full before we began. Josh is so professional and genuine and you can see the passion for his career in the work that he does!
