I'm a certified massage therapist graduated  from McKinnon Body Therapy Center in Oakland, California. 

I use Western modalities to address pain using deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial release, cupping and Medicupping™.

My goal is to facilitate healing using those tools. My primary focus is pain relief and I'm willing to meet the challenges and customize the massage according to what each client's needs to improve their quality of life.

What can I say that I haven’t already said about Miguel in my first post on this forum. Hmmmm…. I am a survivor of sexual violence and emotional abandonment in my family of origin. Now… well that’s private. Miguel managed to unblock with his gifts in a last minute cry for help on Sunday. As I have shared with Miguel, and my physical community, and now in this space, Miguel is not my masseuse but my body THERAPIST. Miguel is shy, a man of few/no words, extremely non intrusive, non judgmental……. I’ll end by thanking my prior masseuse for recommending Miguel when he was on vacation. I called Miguel, and within hours, I was on his massage table. If memory serves me well — I met Miguel 3-4 years back. I have been fortune to have received massages in different countries, and also from different masseuse in the US and in Berkeley/Oakland. Miguel it is for me!

I can’t begin to explain how incredible Miguel is. He fixed my mom’s shoulder that has been hurting for months, and convinced her to finally seek out physical therapy. She loved how professional and knowledgeable he was, without the typical stuffy atmosphere, usually associated with massages.

I exercise regularly and at my age have my share of aches and pains. I go to Miguel because he really knows how to make my body right. While I appreciate a good relaxing massage, it’s the therapeutic effect that really has me going back.
