When my mom passed at the young age of 61, I got acutely in touch with how short life can be and how important it was for me to feel the difference my life was making. I left a good job with a university to work at the front lines, connecting directly with people, doing massage.
Now I feel the difference my life makes, feeling stress in someone's body melt in my hands, reconnecting people with how good it can feel to be themselves, and the gift it is to be alive, one person at a time.
