Greetings, my name is Patrice Johnson. I am a licensed massage therapist. I am licensed by the CAMTC (California Massage Therapy Council), and am a member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals). I am passionate about self-care, health, wellness, and pain management. I wholeheartedly believe that a holistic approach to health and wellness is integral in optimizing wellbeing.

I have sustained neck and shoulder injuries, including two shoulder surgeries. I know what it’s like to have chronic pain, be under-treated and feel like a number. Because of this experience I’m committed to providing focused compassionate care and helping clients better manage wellness and chronic pain. My massage skills include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, MediCupping, Body Contouring, Clinical Massage, and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM). My intention with the bodywork I perform is to allow the body to relax, reset, and recuperate.

2018 - Now: I provide massage to Chiropractic patients in two separate offices.

Medicupping Certificate 2019

MediCupping Bodywork is used to lift and stretch soft tissue (muscle, fascia/connective, attachments), separate fused tissue layers (i.e. ITB and TFL), release and soften scar tissue, open body drainage systems to aid in decongesting “solid bloat” and increase hydration of tissues. Bones also respond well to treatment. Skin discolorations reveal old blood trapped in the tissue and will dissipate between 1-4 days.

Patrice has a wonderful demeanor and great intuition. She was able to provide a great amount of pressure and despite me walking in the door sore, well, everywhere, made sure my whole body got attention. I also appreciated her commitment to comfort and safety, from masking to the table warmer.
