For over 30 years I have been studying the body. Ballet consumed my early life, including two European tours. I earned a Biology degree from Oberlin.  Yoga practice and teaching lead me to living off-and-on in Southeast Asia. My lifelong dedication to expressive movement lends to my responsive approach to bodywork.

Mine is the Wounded Healer journey. I depended on holistic therapies and devoted yoga practice to sustain myself through bouts of severe depression as well as a high-stakes web design career in the go-go 90s dot-com boom.

Stress-induced digestive failure, coupled with tropical poisoning and heart-break met in a perfect storm.  I lost tons of weight and my vitality was simply seeping away. My friends noticed "you have one foot in the other world." This was true.  Ultimately I would transform the illness via meditation while living in a Thai Buddhist monastery in 2000.  I healed myself, and went directly from the monster on to begin my bodywork studies.

I bring this devotion to bring back your ease and balance now.<!--EndFragment-->

REVIEWS for my Bodywork services

Diane was a huge help for my persistent neck pain and headaches. Will definitely come back!

Yesterday was the first of, I hope, many massages with Diane. Even though we had never worked together, I felt like Diane knew the intricacies of my body and was able to get to work immediately on loosening my left glute and shoulder. I’m so glad to have found an amazing massage therapist just half a block from me.

Diane is always friendly, compassionate and professional. Her knowledge of the body is amazing and I always feel so good about my body when I leave. Thank you!

Overall, I was very pleased with the bodywork. Diane talked with me about my symptoms and asked about my medical history. Diane knew different modalities and techniques so was able to address my many different symptoms. For example, Diane located my soft tissue damage (as well as muscles) and focused on my painful areas. Diane’s work space was clean, felt safe, and was relaxing. I enjoyed the session and meeting Diane.

Diane is very skilled and caring and provides a lovely environment. In addition to being very good with the bodywork, she is teaching me simple things I can do for myself without any judgment.

Diane is a wonderful masseuse. She utilized different modalities during my massage and released so much tension in parts of my body that i didn't realize were tight. Her space is warm and soothing, and she even gave me recommendations for stretches I can do daily to help ease work- related tension. Go see Diane, she is truly talented.

Great energy

Diane was super knowledgable about body work. She read my intake form ahead of time and checked in with me about my concerns. She has amazing healing energy and is also incredibly technically skilled. My session her was both relaxing, and a great reset for my chronically painful and tight back/glutes. I walked away feeling lighter than I have in months!
