Muscle Mending Therapeutic Massage has been a labor truely of love.  I spent almost 13 years serving others as a Chiropractic Assistant and loved  helping people on their healing journey.  I am a wife and mother of three awesome children.  As they are mostly grown and self sufficient, it was time for me to grow.  I love studying the body and the ways it can adapt and heal.  I graduated from Universal Spa and Training Academy in Downers Grove.  I contiue to study different styles and techniques every chance I get.  I am currently finishing a certification in Medical Massage Therapy.  My strengths are my ability to tune into what the client is asking for and what the muscles are telling me through touch.  I am so happy to be helping people every day.

Laurel doesn’t just do a feel good massage. She educated her clients as to how to do things on their own to do things at home to help with their issues. She also explains every thing she is doing to help correct a clients problems and why she is doing certain techniques

Laurel is friendly and calming. She has magic fingers and where other therapists might inflict some pain, she manipulates the muscles with minimal invasiveness. She listens and works exactly what you need.
