After working 18 years in the financial industry, I decided to leave that behind and focus 100% of my efforts to my passion: helping people heal through healthy alternative methods. The best way I knew how to do this, was to become a massage therapist. After working 18 years in the financial industry, I decided to leave
that behind and focus 100% of my efforts to my passion: helping people
heal through healthy alternative methods. The best way I knew how to do
this, was to become a massage therapist. This became more relevant to
me when I saw how much better my Dad felt and how his pain was
alleviated after his massage sessions during his battle with terminal
cancer. As a two time cancer survivor myself, I knew this was the path I
needed to take. I graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage
Therapy and became a licensed massage therapist in CT.
I believe
customer service with the utmost care in being responsive to the
clients needs. I accomplish this by working with every client, to
develop a specific plan of action, tailored to the client, in order to
receive the desired results. I am always researching and learning new
massage modalities to offer my clients many options to help them feel
better. In addition to Swedish and deep tissue, I am also certified in
prenatal massage and integrative massage.
I've also studied
nutrition and holistic health in New York City at IIN (Institute for
Integrative Nutrition) and certified as a health coach. My studies
included learning about different diets, relationships with food and
creating balance through meditation, movement and stretching which works
great with massage, to bring wellness and balance to your mind, body
and soul.
Massage therapy can play an important role in your
health maintenance. My goal is to help you achieve balance, relieve
muscle tension, stress and increase your mental health and wellness - to
find balance between relief and relaxation. This is not only a career
for me; it's also my passion.
