Every birth should be a Treasured Birth!

I am a full-time Student Midwife attending The National College of Midwifery. Since 2007, I have worked and trained with several out-of-hospital midwives, and been a birth doula for over 28 years, for clients having either an out-of-hospital birth, or well as in-hospital birth.  Overall, I have attended over 800 births.

As a Massage Therapist, I specialize in Prenatal Massage.  I also have education and experience with herbs, aromatherapy, and Reiki. I offer clients consistent presence, endless patience, a family-friendly approach to massage, pregnancy, labor, childbirth and postpartum based on up-to-date, evidence-based and scientific information. I believe that birth is a key life event that should be powerful, informed, and gentle. It is my hope that Every birth should be a “Treasured Birth.”

Prenatal and Postnatal Massage Therapist

I began studying for Prenatal and Postnatal Massage as a course of certification out of a desire to provide quality support and massage to my birth clients. My experience during my education is deep and wide, covering sports massage, deep tissue, hot stone therapy, swedish massage, aromatherapy, herbs and tinctures, tapping, reflexology and many more continuation credits. I am a lifelong learner and will continue to add to my "toolbelt" of skills as the years progress. I am a Certified ABMP Massage Therapist, and hope to use my hands-on skills to benefit my clients both within, and out of the birth community.
