After years of being involved in the construction industry I sought help healing the wear and tear of hard physical work. Receiving bodywork from talented therapists piqued my interest in this low-tech, hands-on therapy. My initial training was at the Amherst School of Massage after which I received state licensure. I pursued further study at Esalen Institute in Big Sur, CA where I earned Practitioner's certification.

The Esalen style incorporates influences from Hawaiian Lomilomi, Swedish massage, the work of Ida Rolf, the work of Moishe Feldenkrais and others. I am trained also in Heartworks Lomi Lomi and offer Lomi Lomi sessions. I love working with people in this way!

My studio is located in downtown Northampton on Center St. next to the police station.  In addition to massage I am involved with music, dancing tango with my partner and visiting family and friends in California.
