Nicole's path to the healing practice of Massage Therapy began in her childhood.  She had the unique experience of growing up with grandparents who both practiced Massage Therapy and Reflexology.  They welcomed their friends and neighbors into their home in rural North Dakota. Grandma Carrie worked on the women and Grandpa Cliff worked on the men.  After their retirement, past clients would tell Nicole what "talented healers" they had been.

As a graduate of the Arizona School of Massage Therapy,  Nicole holds a license in the states of Arizona and Oklahoma.  In 2012, she relocated with her family to Norman, OK.  This is where she began her solo practice and established Body and Soul Massage by Nicole in 2015. 

Believing that we are all lifetime students and can always learn something new.  Nicole continues her education about the human body.  Since graduating in 2008,  she has taken continuing education courses from The Freedom From Pain Institute led by Erik Dalton, Thai Yoga on the Table led by Heath and Nicole Reed and is a Master Reiki practitioner to name a few.   Helping people become pain free is the goal, be it physical, emotional or both.  Improving someones range of motion, she believes, leads to emotional health.   

Your experience with Nicole will be customized for you personally.  She will consider the restrictions you are experiencing, acute or chronic.  She will help to relieve muscle strains from overworking physically or fatigue and stress from sitting at your desk all week long.

Pregnancy

I am certified for pre-natal massage through Nirvana Massage. I had the unique experience of being pregnant the entire time that I attended massage school. I have a special affinity and personal awareness for the pregnant body and what it wants and needs. Babies love pregnancy massage!

Thai/Yoga on the table Massage

Eastern Thai massage meets Yoga poses on the table. This is a massage that I love to integrate into virtually every massage. It loosens restricted fascial layers and increases the body's range of motion through gentle yet effective stretching.

Nicole's intuitive approach is unique and therapeutic. She was able to work on a shoulder that tends to get tight and stay tight after surgery. She loosened up those angry muscles without causing pain afterwards. Pretty amazing!
