I have been a massage therapist for going on 7 years, specializing in Swedish massage, Deep tissue, Prenatal massage, and Hot stone massage. I love improving people's quality of life and living their lives more comfortably. I became interested in massage therapy back when I was in high school and my mother tore her ACL playing football with the local kids. She had a physical therapist come to our home and do her therapy. I was instantly intrigued, how the body works, how the body is able to heal itself. Soon after high school I enrolled at ECPI University- Medical Careers Institute in Newport News, Va, for their physical therapy program. They told me that massage therapy would be my foundation, to start there. Well, I feel in love with massage, the mass benefits it provides and never thought of pursuing physical therapy. I am focused and dedicated to learn more about massage, to enhance my skills which ultimately helps my clients.
