I have been practicing Massage Therapy since 1999, shortly after graduating Swedish Institute in NYC. Since then I have worked with thousands of clients (some of them are with me still). My practice is as diverse as the Big Apple and everyone is welcome and celebrated.

While we work with the body we have an access to the mind and emotions... I am a student of a very effective trauma therapy Somatic Experiencing, founded by Dr. Peter Levine PhD. I do incorporate my knowledge into my sessions.

I practice Arvigo Technique of Mayan Abdominal Therapy. This unique therapy is mostly known for female health and healing but in reality it's a very versatile, holistic and preventative therapy for everyone. It addresses reproductive, digestive, circulatory and nervous systems of the body.

My work is a preventative medicine. While we address the issues at hand and work to correct the current imbalance, my intention for every session is to help the body and the mind to shift into a state where healing happens.

Go to Angelika Zamfirescu, you will thank your lucky stars you did. She has a beautiful energy, is an excellent communicator and has got to be one of the best massage therapists in NYC. Angelika zeros in on all the right areas and even teaches me relaxing techniques & stretches to use at home.
